African Climate Summit 2023 : Presidential Day| PART 2

Kenya’s President William Ruto launched the three-day summit on Monday, September 4, with a ministerial session held alongside other side events. The United Nations Secretary-General, António Guterres, hold a brief session at the forum.

As the summit enters its second day, several Heads of State are taking turns at the presidential opening to address climate issues with regard to biodiversity, providing clean energy not just for Africa but to export globally, while creating job opportunities and bridging investment gaps.
