Africa Day 2022 – Africa’s Year of Nutrition

The UN has declared 2022 the International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture, and for good reason too. Seafood is a vital source of nutrition and livelihood for billions of people.

This is a powerful opportunity to give a voice to those that would otherwise not have access and provide a democratised pathway for contribution to transforming global and local food systems.

Building resilience in food and nutrition security on the African Continent: Strengthening Agri-food systems and health and social production systems to accelerate socio-economic and human capital development’’.

We exist to support specifically those affected by digital exclusion; to listen and understand the local food system through their lens. 💫 We have the opportunity to bring their voices, ideas and solutions to the forefront of this diverse and valuable programme to enable lasting change for local and global food systems.
